Ecuador is the biggest banana exporteur
June 17, 2008Because of it’s exceptional location at the equator, with it’s flat coastal plain that reaches into the pacific, Ecuador offers the ideal climate for the cultivation of bananas. This condition makes Ecuador the largest exporter of bananas in the whole world. And yet the country is still shaken by many economic, politic and social crises, of which some the banana trade is even responsible.
