The magic bananas

What? You thought bananas don’t have any influence on our lives?

… the English psychologist John Marsden invited fifty people into the theater, supposedly to watch a short film and eventually criticize it. Without any notice from the participants, photos of bananas appeared for less than seconds on the screen, altogether six times. After having watched and judged the movie, the participants were asked into the lobby to chose a snack: either an apple or a banana. More than 90% chose the banana over the apple!
