Elvis Sandwich – with bananas, of course!
April 10, 2008Well, I have to admit, I´ve had never heard about the famous Elvis sandwich. A real tragedy, I know. Anyway, Uli, the master of the world wide web, told me this story today because he´d read a post from Monokel at the german site this morning. Luckily he also had the recipe of this “wild” sandwich and generously shared it with us. So you can try to get it done, too, and maybe you´ll like this weird snack.
Here we go: Take 2 slices of soft white bread and toast it. In a toaster, not on the grill! Then you spread some peanut butter on a slice an put the banana slices onto. Cover it with the other slice of bread and fry the sandwich in a hot skillet. With butter inside, of course! Enjoy the tatsy result and maybe you get some new rhythm in your life.
